Tucked between willow trees and hazel hurdles, elemental spa is a sanctuary of warmth, water and wide skies. A space to breathe deep, soothe your body, and reconnect with what matters.
Here, you’ll find two wood-fired saunas — one handcrafted from a converted horse box, the other a pop-up sauna tucked near the 18th-century grotto — as well as a cold plunge dip tank, an open-air copper shower and 'the long view': expansive marshland, an ancient oak and deer often seen leaping across the marshland
Between rounds of heat and cold, relax in the lotus-belle spa tent with essential oils, rugs, and seasonal displays of wildlife and plant life. Or rest in a recliner, wrapped in a blanket, watching the light shift across the land.
Swim in the spring-fed ponds, just steps away — naturally filtered, half an acre in size and full of the restorative energy of fresh spring-fed water.
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, gathering with family, or simply pressing pause, elemental spa offers a few hours of peace, presence, and elemental joy — held by the land and designed with care.

A note on the long view
We’ve come to call it “the long view” — the one seen through the sauna’s portals, across the marshland and towards the ancient oak. But also the longer arc we hold here: of stewardship, ecology, and deep care for the land; elemental spa is part of that story.
Optional: elemental flow
Not sure where to begin? We've created a gentle self-guided flow to help shape your time.
The Elemental Flow invites you to:
Begin with intention-setting
Move through cycles of heat and cold
- Pause for breath, scent, and reflection
- End with rest and replenishment

Oakhill Ponds is my happy place, perfect for connecting with nature and always leave feeling restored and energised. The sauna is beautiful and plunging in either the tub or pond makes me feel amazing...I think I might actually be addicted! Coming to Oakhill is always the highlight of my week.

What a find! This place is such a wonderful natural space to unwind from the busy world and connect with the good things. Such a reset and rest, I particularly love the contrast between the wood fired sauna and the cool of the cold water plunge bath. Restorative!
