Tucked between willow trees and hazel hurdles, elemental spa is a  sanctuary of warmth, water and wide skies. A space to breathe deep, soothe your body, and reconnect with what matters.

Here, you’ll find two wood-fired saunas — one handcrafted from a converted horse box, the other a pop-up sauna tucked near the 18th-century grotto — as well as a cold plunge dip tank, an open-air copper shower and 'the long view': expansive marshland, an ancient oak and deer often seen leaping across the marshland

Between rounds of heat and cold, relax in the lotus-belle spa tent with essential oils, rugs, and seasonal displays of wildlife and plant life. Or rest in a recliner, wrapped in a blanket, watching the light shift across the land.

Swim in the spring-fed ponds, just steps away — naturally filtered, half an acre in size and full of the restorative energy of fresh spring-fed water.

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, gathering with family, or simply pressing pause, elemental spa offers a few hours of peace, presence, and elemental joy — held by the land and designed with care.

What’s included

• Two wood-fired saunas:
  The Horse Box Sauna, lovingly converted
  Urban Ice Tribe Pop-Up Sauna, nestled near the grotto Coming early April! 
• Spring-fed swimming ponds with direct access from the spa area
• Cold plunge dip tank with rustic oak screening
• Outdoor copper shower, open to the sky

• Hot shower in the spa shed, perfect for warming up or rinsing off before heading home

• Lotus Belle Relaxation Tent: soft rugs, essential oils, seasonal displays, and space to change or rest

• Lafuma loungers, beanbags, and blankets for reclining between sauna rounds

• Naturally filtered spring water for drinking, freely available throughout your stay

• A wee hooses compost loo, if nature calls

   

Booking & Pricing

Private use for up to 4 or 8 people
Each session lasts 2 hours, including arrival and wind-down time.

Wood and fire-lighting are included.
First guests of the day may be invited to light their own fire as part of the experience should they wish to. If your session follows another, you may be asked to gently top up the fire once or twice to keep the heat flowing.

Optional add-ons

• Extra Hour (with shared access to outdoor kitchen & pantry)
  £30 for 8 people, £20 for 4 people
  If you want to linger and eat together, post-spa, you can hire an extra hour which includes use of our outdoor kitchen and dining area which behind the spa area. We recommend guests bring picnic-style food in a cool bag. It is not a dedicated space, the space may be shared with our glamping guests but there are plenty of seats and tables for all. The Kamado and Kadai are not available for spa guest use.

• Spa Packs
  £8 per person
  Includes robe, Thai cotton sauna cloth, hammam towel, sauna hat and towelling hair turban.

• Fire Pit
  £25 -  We will set the fire ready to light and prep a box of wood, kindling, fire-lighters and matches - enough wood for your 2 hour session.
  Covered and weather-safe, a lovely way to wind down or gather together during your spa session or after your food if you have booked the extra hour. 

• Massage or treatments
  May be available by arrangement – please ask at the time of booking.

A note on the long view

We’ve come to call it “the long view” — the one seen through the sauna’s portals, across the marshland and towards the ancient oak. But also the longer arc we hold here: of stewardship, ecology, and deep care for the land; elemental spa is part of that story.
